GASTONIA, N.C. -- An argument turned deadly Saturday.

Gregory Town, 59, was arrested and taken into custody by Gaston County police after being accused of shooting and killing his neighbor, Patrick Schneider, that same day.

Schneider was found in the road, shot in the chest. He died on the way to the hospital.

Police say Town and Schneider were no strangers to quarrels, they had a history of disputes with one another.

According to investigators, this one was spurred by cars parked in front of Town's house.

Town currently has no bond.
