UMA, S.C. -- A video that's gotten nearly 10,000 views already on Facebook shows moments when a father and son were trapped in their vehicle during last week's storms.

Terry Sanchez-Lewis wrote on Facebook that they were on Interstate 85 Business when power lines wrapped around their truck due to what he believed to be a tornado.

He wrote, "I’m sitting here on bus 85 [sic] with power lines wrapped around my truck with Sebastian. The tornado went right over us and the lines kept the truck planted on the ground. We survived!! Thank you God!"

Sanchez-Lewis said that Duke Energy crews helped them to safety.

In the post for the video with his son, Sanchez-Lewis wrote, "My son was so brave!!! I knew we were going to die and had accepted that but I didn’t want him to be hurt. It’s crazy just how powerful nature is! You can read about it and sort of understand but until your in the middle of it you don’t realize just how powerless you are!"
