Cardinal Dolan offers his support to the victims of yesterday's attack.

He stopped by Bellevue Hospital this afternoon.

Three patients remain at the hospital, a least five others have been released. The injuries range from amputation to serious head, back and neck trauma.

"I tell them I love them, that the whole city of New York is embracing them with their love and prayers, and we’re on our knees for them and with them," Dolan said. "And that’s a great consolation, because not only is their physical pain bad enough, but the thought that they’re by themselves and away from home, this city has made them feel at home.

Cardinal Dolan says he did not meet with the suspect, and it is currently unclear if he is still being treated at Bellevue.
