A pediatric care center in Jackson Heights re-opens to benefit entire families.

Officials unveiled the new NYC Health and Hospitals Gotham Health at Jackson Heights Thursday.

While the center will still have pediatricians, there will also be gynecologists, a social worker and a nutritionist on staff.

It was funded by Mayor de Blasio's Caring Neighborhoods initiative, which aims to bring primary care to underserved communities.

Doctors say the community has a wide array of illness that need treatment. They expect to serve 10,000 patients a year.

"The levels of asthma, hypertension, diabetes, mental health issues as well as social issues cry out for us to come and take care of this health center," said Chief Medical Officer Dr. Walid Michelen.

"It makes everything so much more convenient that we can be seen in the same location," said patient Sasha Williams.

The center is expected to open later this month.
