NEW YORK - Mets manager Terry Collins is reportedly hanging up his hat.

According to the Daily News, team sources expect him to retire when his contract expires at the end of this season.

Although Collins himself says he has not decided on his future.

The 68-year-old has managed the team since 2011.

He led them to a World Series berth in 2015 and a wild card last season.

He's the longest tenured manager in franchise history and has the second most wins.

This year the team was hit hard by many injuries and is now 22 games under .500.

According to multiple sources, General Manager Sandy Alderson will return next year.

He has also been with the team for seven seasons.
