Get ready to dine out without breaking the bank during the 5th annual Sunnyside Restaurant Week.

Nearly 30 restaurants are taking part this year. Each participating restaurant will serve a three-course dinner menu for $25. Many will offer additional lunch specials, and one restaurant is offering the $25 dinner menu for two people.

The director of the Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District, Jaime-Faye Bean, said Restaurant Week is an important way to highlight the diverse eateries in the neighborhood.

“Last year, we had 95% of our participants reporting that Restaurant Week brought in additional business for them,” said Bean. “Anecdotally, a lot of restaurant owners report that people who discovered them during restaurant week become regular customers or come back again.”

Sunnyside Restaurant Week kicks off October 1st, and runs through the 7th.
