A Florida bound JetBlue flight which left LaGuardia Airport Monday morning had to be diverted after the plane experienced a mechanical issue, according to officials.
Flight 461, which was intended to land at the Palm Beach International Airport, instead landed safely at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
It was redirected out of an abundance of caution, according to the company. The company said customers were able to continue on to Palm Beach on a different aircraft.
The cause of the issue remains under investigation.
No injuries were reported.
