A new photo exhibit in South Ozone Park highlights the annual West Indian Day Parade .

Resorts World Casino has opened a new photo exhibit called "Carnival in the City" at its Red Wall Gallery.

It features photographs that explore the history of costumes, traditions, arts, and culture from the annual parade in Brooklyn.

Visitors to the exhibit can see images from J'ouvert  and Carnival "Mas Camp" band costumes.

"Since it's the 50th anniversary for the West Indian Day carnival why not do something to showcase our work for the past 50 years, " said Curator Karen Valentine.

The showcase is on display until September 30th on the Time Square and Fifth Avenue levels of the casino.
