A New Jersey man has been charged with drunk driving after a crash that killed two people in Queens over the weekend.

Police say the driver, Andrew Shakespeare, was speeding westbound on the Grand Central Parkway in an SUV just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday

They say he sideswiped a car next to him, lost control, and swerved across three lanes, hitting two more cars.

Two of his passengers were killed: 16-year-old Akeam Grant and 34-year-old Layon Campbell.

Seven other people involved in the crash went to the hospital with injuries.

Shakespeare was treated for a minor head injury and refused sobriety tests.

He was later arrested on charges including DWI, vehicular homicide and reckless driving.
