St. Albans felt more like a place in the Caribbean on Sunday, as opposed to a neighborhood in Queens.

The 7th annual Groovin' In The Park Concert returned to Roy Wilkins Park over the weekend.

R Kelly and other artists known for their music were brought in to perform.

"I want people to be able to sing along to my songs that they grew up loving and to have a party basically because it's going to be a part in the park," explained performer Freddie McGregor.

Organizers had plenty of food on hand, including Caribbean corn and fried fish.

As for the dress code, organizers said that comfort was key.

"Wear bright colors because it's summer and it's a Caribbean event and come hungry because there'll be so many Caribbean foods,” said Dave Rodney, the co-Publicist for Groovin' In The Park
