A little food, some drinks, and a little business, all part of the theme at the Queens Taste 2017.

The 15th Annual Queens Taste took place at the New York Hall of Science at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Tuesday night.

From burgers to cupcakes to flavored vodka, there was a wide range of edible treats to sample.

The event is designed to give borough resturants and businesses a boost in business and recognition.

"So this is a chance for restaurants to show off what they have to a receptive audience, " said Rob MacKay, Director of the Queens Tourism Council.

"Great chance for these restaurants to kind of branch out and be on the radar for new customers, " added Ricardi Calixte, Deputy Director of Queens Economic Development Corporation.

The proceeds from the event will help the Queens Economic Development Corporation's efforts to attract and maintain jobs in the borough
