Police have confirmed another case of homophobic graffiti in Astoria as they continue searching for a suspect in more than a dozen other similar incidents.

State Senator Michael Gianaris's office sent us a photo of the latest incident. Police confirm someone spray painted graffiti with the name of former President Obama followed by a gay slur on a building on 29th Street at Newtown Avenue.

The graffiti was discovered Friday morning around 11:00am. The NYPD Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.

This latest incident comes three weeks after police released surveillance video of a suspect in at least 15 other, similar incidents. In the video, the man can be seen walking up to a building on 18th Street near Astoria Boulevard and spray-painting a gay slur on the glass door.

Police say the man they're looking for is about 6 feet tall and 200 pounds.

They have not confirmed if the latest incident is related to the pattern.
