It's not just the poker and baccarat getting wild at a South Ozone Park casino.

About two dozen photos of animals around the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, along with a nature scene, are on display at Resorts World Casino this month. It's all in honor of Earth Day, which is on April 22nd.

They will also be teaming up with the American Littoral Society for a beach cleanup on April 23rd. Photographer Don Riepe hopes his pictures will show locals that they are closer to wildlife than they may think.

“Many people, even local people, have never been to the Refuge or don't realize what's right here,” Riepe said. “I always tell people you can see more wildlife, beautiful animals right here in New York City than you can by going up to the Catskills or the Adirondacks.”

The exhibit will be on display through May 5th.
