Restaurants in Sunnyside are serving up "Spring on Skillman."

About a dozen restaurants along Skillman Avenue are taking part in the Spring Restaurant Week.

Each participating restaurant  offers a meal or a dish for $19.10 -- to celebrate the establishment of the commercial corridor back in 1910.

Restaurant owners hope the celebration brings people together and drums up business.

"I think it's, it'll able to bring all kind of communities being in the same platform," said Saffron Garden Owner Yeamin Chowdhury.

"Gotta give back to the neighborhood so the neighborhood gives back to us. Right?" said Uncle Jimmy's Pizzeria owner Jimmy Canarozzi

Spring on Skillman kicked off Wednesday, it runs through April 2nd.
