Girls in Queens tool the phrase "Play Like A Girl" and gave it new meaning this weekend.
On Sunday, NYC Parks held a "She's On Point" day at the Al Oerter Recreation Center in Flushing.
Around 50 young female participants took part as they were given a chance to try a variety of different sports.
Helping them hone in on their skills were the members of four Queens College women's sports teams.
The parks department has held a number of She's On Point events throughout the month of February to mark National Girls and Women in Sports Day.
