This November marks an Astoria pharmacy's 11th year holding a Thanksgiving food drive.

City View Pharmacy at 23-07 Astoria Boulevard sets a box at the front of their store, every year, to encourage locals to drop off non-perishable food.

The items go to City Harvest, a local non-profit dedicated to feeding hungry New Yorkers.

"Thanksgiving brings everybody together, brings families together, and everybody in their homes so we said you know what- let's reach out- let's give back to the community, let's give back to thóse needy families and work with City Harvest," said Harry Xidias, the owner of the City View Pharmacy.

The last day to drop off items at City View Pharmacy is November 22.
