A woman is demanding answers after she says her grandson was left on a school bus in Queens.

Stacey Shields says her 5-year-old grandson Javon Clarke was on his way to school at the Golden Maple Academy in Far Rockaway Monday morning when he fell asleep.

She says he was then locked on the bus by himself for hours.

The grandma says a woman heard the boy on the bus and got help from an officer, who broke into the bus.

"Nobody woke me up," the boy said. "Two of the doors was closed, I was trying to open the door, but it was closed."

"I was very perturbed, very upset. I was trying to figure out how could this happen and who would allow something like this to happen and where are the adults, the matron on the bus, the driver," the grandmother said. "Did nobody check the bus? I'm not understanding."

The bus is operated by the New Generation Bus Company and NY1 was unable to reach them for comment.

The NYPD says it can't comment because a police report was never filed.
