We typically see tennis pros out on the courts during the 2016 U.S. Open.  But what you may not know is there's an entire salon on the grounds dedicated to getting them ready before a big match. NY1's Shannan Ferry filed the following report.

Before they sweat it out on the courts, tennis pros get ready to 'serve' in style.

Tucked away in Arthur Ashe Stadium, there is a full service Salon & Spa for the stars.

"If you feel good inside, you'll feel good on the courts, so that's really important," said Tennis Player Donna Vekic.

Owner Julien Farel said dozens of clients walk through the doors every day of the tournament.

To keep their appearances 'on point' he carefully selects products that will last through long matches and all types of weather.

Reporter: So how much does this change their confidence level? When they walk out they have their hair done, maybe their nails done, maybe a nice massage?

Farel: If you look great, you only have to focus on one thing, it's playing your game.

2016 marks a special season at the salon, because it's the 10th year in a row that it's been at the U.S. Open.

In those 10 years, the salon has drawn in some of the biggest names in the game including Rafael Nadal.

For the players who haven't given the salon a shot just yet, Farel has some words of wisdom for you.

Reporter: What's that phrase you use?

Farel: Ace your look!

Although the players salon isn't open to the public, anyone can get pampered like a pro at Farel's other salon on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
