Design Competition Generates Buzz for Reinventing NYS Pavilion

A competition asking people to come up with potential new uses for the New York State Pavilion has generated a lot of ideas for restoring the site. Everything from a wedding chapel to a refugee center. That ideas competition is the latest step in the long process to restore the Queens landmark. Co-founder of People for the Pavilion, Salmaan Khan spoke with NY1's Rocco Vertuccio.
