Travelers arriving at John F. Kennedy airport will get their first glimpse of city from the lenses of Queens middle school students.

M.S. 226 held a ribbon cutting for their new photography exhibit at J.F.K on Tuesday.

The exhibit is located inside Terminal 4 at the airport and features student photographs of New York City.

Last year the school held a similar exhibition at the terminal and officials say it was a hit.

"A lot of people in the terminal loved it. They were really excited about seeing pictures… seeing things they're not used to seeing at airports," said Gert-Jan De Graaff President of J.F.K.’s Airport International Terminal.

"I'm kind of nervous of what people would say and kind of nervous,” said student Jaden Wharton about the exhibition of his work.

"It's a really good experience because you get to see people walk pass you and get to see how they really feel about your photos," added student David Farmer.

Terminal officials say they plan to keep the exhibit up for the rest of the year.
