A JFK Airport contractor was arrested early Thursday for allegedly cheating construction workers out of benefit payments.

Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and the Port Authority's Inspector General announced the arrest Thursday afternoon. They say Kenneth Padover and his company, Arbor Concrete Corporation, face 136 felony counts of falsifying business records and other charges.

Padover allegedly failed to pay more than $268,000 in benefits to workers for a construction project at JFK Airport's Delta Terminal. Padover was arraigned Thursday in Queens County Criminal Court.
