No Easter is complete without plenty of candy, and a candy shop in Queens is hard at work preparing for the holiday weekend.

Schmidt's Candy in Woodhaven has been making chocolate by hand using traditional German recipes since 1925.

The shop says Good Friday is its busiest day of the year.

They also have a very simple explanation for why the shop has stayed in business for so long.

"People come back I think because it tastes good. So it's all about the ingredients. The caramel has five ingredients -- sugar, milk, heavy cream -- it tastes good. Theres no preservatives there's no sorbates in it," said Margie Schmidt, the store's owner.
