A man was found dead after a house fire in Queens early Friday.
According to officials, flames broke out just before midnight at a home on Riverside Drive near 154th Place in Whitestone.
After the fire was put out, firefighters discovered 74-year-old Mario Dimisa, according to the police report. Dimisa was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fire marshals said the blaze was most likely started accidentally by a cigarette.
