The person behind an attempted robbery last month in Long Island City remains at large.

Police are looking for this man, who they say tried to rob two women while they were walking near 40th Avenue and 9th Street October 28th.

When they refused to hand over their bags, they say he hit them both in the head with an unknown object and ran off empty handed.

Both victims suffered cuts to their foreheads, but did not go to the hospital.

Investigators say the attacker was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, pants and sneakers.
