Mets fans will get a chance to rally for the home team next week.

Queens Borough President Melinda Katz is teaming up with the Mets organization to host a "hometown rally" for the team at Queens Borough Hall. The rally will be Monday afternoon from 3 to 5 pm.

Katz said fans were encouraged to wear blue and orange.

“It's an exciting time for us,” Katz said. “The Mets are doing well, the games have been so exciting, and we're so happy that it's here in Queens. We're looking forward to bringing the whole city together to rally for our Mets.”

The rally in support of the Amazin's trip to the World Series will feature family-friendly activities, food and beverages. Admission is free and open to the public.

Queens Borough Hall is located at 120-55 Queens Boulevard in Kew Gardens. Katz's office is encouraging fans to take mass transit to the rally.
