Astoria Center That Helps Immigrants Needs Public's Help to Continue Operating

An Astoria nonprofit organization that helps new Americans integrate into society with a variety of free service, needs the public's help to its work.

The Center for the Integration and Advancement of New Americans, CIANA, relies on volunteers and donations.

Emira Habiby Browne, the organization's founder, sat down with NY1 to discuss the importance of the center.
