An MTA train operator is under arrest for allegedly killing a famous jeweler in a hit and run.

46-year-old Charles Jordan is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Aron Aranbayev.

Police said he intentionally ran him over on 71st Avenue near 110th Street in Forest Hills, Queens back on July 19th.

Jordan then fled the scene.

Investigators said the hit and run stemmed from an argument between the two men.

Aranbayev was known for his celebrity clientele, which included Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and rap mogul Puff Daddy.

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. offered a $10,000 reward to help find the driver who killed Aranbayev.
