Organizers of a basketball tournament in the Rockaways are trying to bring an end to violence.

The "Stack Bundles Stop the Violence" tournament in Far Rockaway is in its fourth year.

The games are played in honor of the late rapper "Stack Bundles" who was shot and killed in 2007.

Players of all ages participated in an all-star game and championship round.

Organizers say they are seeing positive results from bringing the community together.

"We've saved a lot of lives so far. A couple of groups that were fighting are no longer fighting,

they are coming to the games, they're enjoying the tournament,"said organizer Manny Fiallo.
