NY1 VIDEO: The cool temperatures didn't stop anyone from soaking up the sun this Memorial Day Weekend. The beaches are officially open. Hundreds made their way to Rockaway Saturday morning, walking along the new boardwalk, catching some rays, and building sand castles.
