A Queens man and his wife are under arrest on charges they kidnapped and assaulted a woman who worked for them as police search for another man in connection with the alleged attack.

Investigators have put out a sketch of the unidentified man they are looking for.

He is described as being about six feet tall and in his early 30s.

Prosecutors say the victim, Daisy Machuea, 54, worked as a housekeeper inside a home located at 41-15 217th Street in Bayside.

According to the criminal complaint, Devanand Lachman, 32, and the unidentified man entered the home on Friday, February 13, accused the victim of stealing a gold chain and cash, then beat and burned her.

Investigators say Lachman's wife, Ambar, then drove them all to the victim's Long Island apartment and searched it.

They also say the husband threatened to return and kill the victim if she did not return the chain and money.

Machuea later alerted police on Long Island, and the NYPD arrested the Lachmans.

They are charged with kidnapping, assault and criminal weapons possession.
