SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Authorities say they've released the two young mothers who disappeared with their babies from Cattaraugus County Saturday morning.

Suffolk County police say the two children, their mothers and another person were stopped by authorities on the Long Island Expressway near the Suffolk County-New York City Border.

The Missing Child Alert went out around 9:30 a.m. Saturday when Salamanca police were notified that 3-month-old Malani Ventura and 29-day-old Londyn Richardson were missing.

They were last seen with their mothers, 16-year-old Selena Ventura and 18-year-old Keshuana Boggs, on East Street in the City of Salamanca around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say both mothers were living at the Zafron Home for Pregnant and Parenting Teens. The children were considered to be in danger because they were so young.

The alert was canceled just before 1 p.m. Police say no charges will be filed.
