In Queens, sports viewing is as diverse as the borough itself, according to our exclusive City Poll, which does find some interesting divided loyalties when it comes to baseball. NY1's Josh Robin filed the following report.

All right, Queens sports fans, what do you like to watch?

Seventeen percent of Queens residents pick basketball as their top sport, 16 percent say baseball, and 13 percent say both football and the other fútbol, soccer.

Sixteen percent say it's another sport.

"I'm from Bangladesh. We love cricket," said one resident.

One-quarter of Queens residents don't like to watch any sport.

Breaking it down, football attracts support from 19 percent of black Queens residents, 18 percent of white Queens residents, and 9 percent of both Asian and Hispanic Queens residents. As for basketball, one-third of black Queens residents call it their favorite, as do 23 percent of Asians, 11 percent of Hispanics and 9 percent of whites.

Soccer draws most support from Hispanics, at 25 percent, followed by Asians at 12 percent, white Queens residents at 7 percent and 5 percent of black Queens residents. Baseball draws 24 percent of Hispanic support, 21 percent of white support, 10 percent of black support and seven percent of Asian Support.

And though, of course, the Mets play in Queens, you may be surprised as to how many people living basically in the shadow of Citi Field root for that other team. It's a tie. Twenty-six percent of Queens residents go for the Mets and 26 percent go for the Yankees. Three percent go for another team. Forty-two percent aren't baseball fans.
