Sunday began on a gray and foggy note in the Big Apple, but, skies did brighten and conditions warmed-up as temperatures broke the 80-degree mark for the sixth time this month.

We will get a break from the wet weather on Monday though as mostly sunny skies and warm conditions will be place once again, but, keep those umbrellas on-hand because another storm system is expected to move through on Tuesday.

Looking ahead, expect temperatures to return to seasonably warm levels on Wednesday, and remain in place through the holiday weekend. Highs will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. Skies are looking bright for the most part, but, some additional wet weather is possible on Sunday.
