A stationary front over the area gave the five boroughs a gray and damp day on Saturday, and conditions were unseasonably cool as temperatures struggled to get out of the 50s.

The clouds are expected to stay in place through the morning hours on Sunday, but, some sun is likely after the noon hour, and we will warm-up quite a bit. The threat of wet weather will stay in place however, as a line of showers and storms are expected to move through during the mid-afternoon hours.

Looking ahead, expect temperatures to be at seasonably warm levels throughout most of next week. Afternoon highs will primarily be in the mid to upper 70s, but, we could see a few 80s as well. Most of the week is looking dry, but, some additional wet weather is possible Tuesday morning.
