A high pressure system off to our south gave New Yorkers another bright and dry day on Sunday. Temperatures were above-normal for the third straight day, but, northwest winds kept conditions on the cool side.

Monday will be a completely different story, as a storm system makes its way towards the city. No significant rain is expected, but, the five boroughs will see a shower or two from time-to-time. A few areas of fog are possible as well.

Looking ahead, another round of wet weather is in store for Tuesday. The rain should remain light during the morning hours, but, some heavier rain is likely during the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Some colder air will then move in on Wednesday, and stay in place through Friday. Temperatures will drop into the 30s.
