A high pressure system off to our south gave the five boroughs sunny and dry weather on Saturday, but, it remained quite cold as afternoon temperatures were below-normal for the eighth time in the last nine days.

Dry conditions will be in place again on Sunday, but, we will have much more clouds to deal with, especially during the afternoon and evening, and temperatures are expected to be below-normal once again.

After dealing with three bouts of snow and unseasonably chilly conditions during the past week, temperatures are expected to increase to more seasonable levels over the next few days. Afternoon highs during the upcoming week will primarily be in the low to mid 40s, but, we could approach 50 on Tuesday and Friday. Conditions are looking dry for the most part, but, we could see a flurry or sprinkle Monday morning.
