Although we still start Friday with some sun, but the clouds will take over later in the day with a high of 42 degrees.

Looking ahead to the weekend, expect below normal temperatures. With cold air in place, a system on Saturday will bring light snow to the city. Although cold enough for snow to fall, temperatures will be in the upper 30s so only a light slushy accumulation is expected. Most of the city will end up with about an inch. If the storm track changes, the total snow amounts will change. That system moves out on Sunday, leaving us cold and blustery.

Going into the new week, highs are expected in the upper 30s, low 40s with overnight lows falling into the 20s and 30s. There could also be a few snow showers next Tuesday.
