A subway advocacy group on Tuesday announced the first winner of the city's #WorstCommute competition.

The Riders Alliance awarded a chocolate MetroCard to City University librarian Jennifer Tang for a recent rough R train ride.

Her usual 30-minute commute from Manhattan to Queens became a two-hour ordeal when the train came to a halt, just one stop away from her Forest Hills home.

Tang wrote last Friday that the train was stuck in the tunnel between the 63rd Drive and 67th Avenue stations.

The group of subway critics asks participants to submit their nightmare stories in 100 words or less using the hashtag #WorstCommute.

The Riders Alliance said it will share the stories until there is a long-term plan to fix the subway.

You will be able to hear more from Tang when she sits down with "Mornings On 1" on Wednesday.
