Pope Francis will be crashing on the Upper East Side during his visit to the city next week.

The official papal residence is located 20 72nd Street between Madison and Fifth Avenue.

The pope will spend two nights there.

Security will of course be a concern, and police barriers are already going up on the block.

Residents who spoke with NY1 say they're expecting some inconvenience next week, but that it's worth it to have the pope as a neighbor.

"It's going to be very exciting, and I think it's certainly to the benefit of the community to see someone of such great eminence," said one Upper East Side resident.

"It does get a little disorienting with the streets closed, but it's a nice thing. It's gonna be a few days here, and it's a real honor to have him here," noted another resident.

Pope Benedict XVI stayed in the same residence during his visit to the city in 2008.
