Some of the performers in the hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" are putting their star power to good use.

They conducted a National Voter Registration drive outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre Wednesday evening.

"I would love to create change in this country, and I'm using the platform I have to do it, which is saying, hey, literally, if you like 'Hamilton,' come meet us and come register to vote," said Okieriete Onaodowan, an actor in "Hamilton." "I think it's a really, really great thing, and hopefully, we'll catch a lot of people who aren't naturally inclined to do that themselves."

"We saw it about three weeks ago, and I felt it really spoke to the immigrant population, and I really identified with the message of the show, and really thought it was a great idea, a neat idea that they were putting this together, and came right ahead to register to vote here," said one person who attended.

There's still another chance to register to vote and meet some of the cast. They will be conducting voter registration again this Saturday.
