Straphangers who use the 57th Street subway station on the F line will need to find a new way to get around.

It's now closed until December for repairs.

This is the latest station to undergo a major renovation under the MTA's Enhanced Station Initiative.

Improvements will include new station entrances, better lighting, more digital screens and waterproofing.

Riders can use these nearby stations for alternate service: 57th Street-7th Avenue, 5th Avenue-59th Street, 5th Avenue-53rd Street, and 47th-50th Streets

An MTA contractor was hurt at the 57th Street station Sunday, after falling onto the tracks while doing concrete work.

The MTA says the man was stepping onto a board that was screwed into the edge of the platform when he fell.

He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
