NEW YORK - The jury selection in the corruption re-trial of former State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos and his son Adam is scheduled to begin Tuesday.

Prosecutors say Skelos abused his power to financially benefit his son with no-show jobs, dating back to 2010.

The Skeloses were convicted in 2015, but the verdict was overturned last year after a Supreme Court ruling narrowed the definition of public corruption.

Skelos and his son face bribery, extortion and fraud charges.

Most of the counts carry a maximum sentence of up to 20 years.
