A jury has awarded an Upper West Side woman $45 million after she was nearly killed by a shopping cart.

Marion Hedges was struck by the cart in 2011, when two teens tossed it from a 79-foot-high overpass outside a Target in East Harlem.

She suffered brain injuries from the attack.

Hedges later sued Target, the shopping mall and the security company for negligence, saying the businesses ignored past cart incidents.

The jurors reached the verdict after a four-and-a-half-week trial.

The New York Post reported that Hedges plans to donate a portion of the money to support the Johnson Community Center on East 113th Street.
