A teenager accused of impersonating a police officer and stealing a wallet from a man — who sources said is blind — in Manhattan has been arrested.

Police said Sunday that the 14-year-old is being charged with grand larceny and criminal impersonation of a police officer.

Police said he had approached the 64-year-old man around 4:20 p.m. Monday near 34th St. and 8th Ave., identifying himself as an officer and offering to help the older man into a subway station.

That is when he stole the victim's wallet from his backpack and ran away, authorities said.

Police said a $500 charge was made on the 64-year-old's credit card at a nearby retail store.
