A FedEx employee is facing a slew of charges, including attempted murder after police say he stabbed a man in Midtown.

Investigators say Tyquan Bailey stabbed another man three times Monday afternoon on Fifth Avenue on 33rd Street near Herald Square.

Police say it appeared to be an unprovoked attack.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and is expected to survive.

A resident of the area tells NY1 he has noticed an increase in crime in the area.

"It's amazing how much crime is happening here. I was here for the shooting. I see people hustling with the card game, like the three card monte all the time now. A lot of fights are breaking out. It seems like it got much more aggressive in the past like two months for some reason," he added.

FedEx says it is cooperating with police in the investigation.
