A new Manhattan exhibit will go "over-easy" with both food and art lovers.

The Egg House is an interactive pop-up created by a group of young designers from New York schools.

Visitors will walk through six rooms as they follow the journey of Ellis the egg through the city.

BiuBiu Xu, the founder of the exhibit, says eggs are universal and allow visitors to freely interpret the installations.

"I think everyone has different and can understand different things from this story. So, we don't want to give Ellis any personality. Maybe it's a girl, maybe it's a boy, and different people can take different things from it," Xu said.

The exhibit is on display until June.
