The New York International Auto Show is racing back into town.

Nearly a thousand new cars and trucks will fill four floors of the Javits Center.

Car companies like Nissan, say the auto show is a not only a great way to debut new models, but also a platform to show how concepts come to life.

"This show for us is very important for us to show what our latest vehicles are but also our latest technologes and what our vision is. And that's why today is important. We talk about Formula E, we show the Leaf, we have big news today also we show the brand new Altima coming."

The show opens to the public on Friday and runs until next Sunday.
