A 17-year-old has been arrested after police say she created a threat against her own high school last month.

The Poughkeepsie City School District was closed for several days at the end of February due to a threat on social media.

According to Poughkeepsie police, the 17-year-old student who reported the Snapchat threat was the one arrested.

The threat read “Poughkeepsie High School students take your pick because I’m coming for you on Thursday, March 1” -- along with a list of 10 students' names, including hers.

The teen was arrested Wednesday and charged with making a terroristic threat. She's been sent to Dutchess County Jail on $10,000 bail.

The investigation into the threat spanned from city police, to the FBI.
