The NYPD is trying to track down an attempted burglar in Chelsea.
They say the man forced his way through two doors at an apartment building in the vicinity of West 18th Street and Eighth Avenue last Tuesday.
He then tried to get inside a 29-year-old woman's apartment.
But she was home, and started making noise to scare him off.
The man then ran off down West 18th Street.
Officers say he's between 20 and 30 years old, with a ponytail and red sneakers.
