AUSTIN, Texas — Sen. Bernie Sanders is making a couple of stops in the Lone Star State next month.

On March 9, the Vermont Senator is scheduled to be one of the featured speakers at this year’s SXSW conference. He plans to sit down with CNN’s Jake Tapper to talk about the news of day, the current political climate and the future of the country.

Sanders will then travel to San Antonio for a fundraiser for Our Revolution Texas, according to a Facebook event page. Our Revolution Texas is a statewide progressive populist organization. Space for the fundraiser is limited and tickets cost $27.

Sanders made a run for the democratic presidential nomination in 2016, but conceded to Hillary Clinton. He announced plans to publish a new book “Where We Go From Here,” set to be released in November.
